I have spent time as the official photographer to the Prime Minister with an office at 10 Downing Street. My time in the military has sent me around the globe, photographing humanitarian crisis and gritty combat zones.
I naturally transitioned to wedding photography as I was asked more and more to photograph the special occasions of my colleagues and friends. As my interest and experience in this genre grew, it led to some pretty high profile events.
I grew up in picturesque Yorkshire near the “Last of The Summer Wine” country where I guess I have my dad to blame for my interest in photography. He would photograph and develop his own work. At high school I studied art and graphic design as a GCSE before moving into web design.
A few years on I started my photo driven career in the nightclubs of Salisbury, which gave me real confidence with the camera - and drunk people. From there I have built up a wealth of experience and have gone on to qualify to Advanced Apprenticeship and undergraduate NVQ level 4 along-side full time employment.
My range of experience has given me a relaxed skill set that I bring to any occasion, whether that is a wedding, engagement, portrait session or photo shoot.
